BOTOX®

WHAT IS BOTOX®?
BOTOX® is a purified protein that works by blocking chemicals that normally signal muscle groups to contract, allowing them to relax.WHAT DOES BOTOX® DO?
BOTOX® effectively reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. FDA approved for the wrinkles between the brows, it is also widely used to smooth away lines in the forehead and around the eyes (crow’s feet). By preventing the muscles from contracting, wrinkles in the injected area may be prevented and existing wrinkles diminished. Untreated facial muscles continue to contract in a normal fashion, allowing normal facial expressions. BOTOX® can also lift the eyebrow to keep you from looking sad or tired and is effective at reducing excessive sweating.

WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR BOTOX®?
Whether you are trying to get rid of wrinkles or just want to prevent them, BOTOX® can benefit you at any age. Women are not the only candidates for BOTOX®! Men are enjoying the same benefits.

WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE DURING A BOTOX® TREATMENT?

Because the needle is so fine and only small amounts are injected at a time, the pain is minimal. No anesthetic is necessary and you can resume normal activities immediately.
